Phelps & Phelps is where this story begins. Jen started working at Phelps & Phelps in 2006. A few months after working there, she met Bryan. He didn't talk much. The guys that worked with Bryan (Moe and Dre) did all the talking, well, arguing mostly. Bryan was always quiet and working. In the spring of 2010, Jen was getting frustrated with the dating world. She began to talk to God about her life and where she was going. A single mom's life with toddler twins was not easy. She was also in college full-time. But God has always been faithful, and even when it seemed He was absent from her life, He was there. Over the months, Bryan started to talk to Jen a little more. When he would see her, he would jokingly tell her he wanted to drive her truck. Jen would tell him, "You cannot drive my car unless you make a payment." Bryan would claim he didn't want to pay the truck note. They would joke more and move on. One evening, Jen was at her wits' end and prayed a prayer to the Lord, asking Him to send her someone to love. Someone that He had in mind for her. It was never planned when Jen would see Bryan, but God plans all things. After crying to sleep, Jen got up the next day for work as normal. She saw Bryan, and he talked a little more that day. He joked and laughed, and Jen noticed. Bryan left the office, and a little while later, he called Jen and asked her when they would go out. He said he wanted to take her out and would call back. They hung up, and Jen noticed Bryan did not ask for her number, so she wrote his number down. Later that night, the kids were gone, and the Lord brought Bryan back to her memory. So Jen called and said, "Hey! How are you going to call me if you don't have my number?" Bryan laughed, and they chatted and made plans and went out on their first date that night." Not too long after their first date, they made it official and grew their blended family. On May 14, 2011, Bryan Anthony Dumas married Jennifer Renee Graves in front of all their family and friends. Two years after the wedding, Bryan's aunt told Jen that he had planned to make her his wife way long before their first date. It has been up from there. Their union has brought forth three girls and three boys, many Godchildren, a thriving business, a growing ministry, and plenty of love. Bryan now drives Jens' truck regularly.
