Maid of Honor
It was love at first meow. Robo and Killy (aka Jen) have been partners in crime since they first met on the derby track. Besides derby, they like to get into whatever shenanigans arise, laugh so hard they pee themselves, sit on a beach all day, listen to true crime podcasts or watch forensic files and discuss murders, go on road trips, and philosophize topics that they don't know much about.

Being my “Seestor”, this is one of the few souls that knows me from beginning to end, and all the juicy stuff in between! Don’t ask her, cause if she divulges, there is a price to pay! Haha. So really, what better person, than an awesome sister who can rationalize freak out moments, laugh at all the funny “behind the scenes moments”, while also having the courage to put me in my place if the need arises, to be standing right beside me! Thank you for all of your unyielding support and love through it all! I love you!

Donna is one of Jen's oldest and closest friends - they met their sophomore year of high school (circa 1997) and haven't looked back. They've experienced so much of the big things in life together - driver's licenses, proms, graduations from the many schools, breakups, marriage, home purchases, kids, new cars, deaths, trips, moving, etc. - and equally so much of the small, everyday things too - that it's hard to remember a time where life existed without the other. Being long distance friends can be hard, but these two kids still manage to get together and drink and gab, go on vacation, spend time with the kids, eat good meals, and sling advice and counseling back and forth.

Brooke’s favorite “neighbor lady” in the whole world! Corrine has been with me, right next door, since the day the moving truck rolled up from day 1 here in MD. There she was, with a hug and fresh made brownies, and her smile. She has seen me at my best, and some of my most emotional moments. She is right there always for advice, her solicited opinions, or even a simple borrowed spice. I love our front porch meetings, it’s awesome to have one of your most treasured people be “right next door”! Thanks for being a part of our special day! Love you, Neighbor Lady!

Stacey and Jen met at work when Jen moved to Maryland for a new job back in 2010. Jen suspected Stacey was a kindred spirit and did everything she could to become her friend. It took a while, but Jen finally nudged her way into Stacey's life and it's been a whirlwind of life memories and experiences ever since. Stacey and Jen are really good at starting new endeavors together, adventuring, eating good meals and drinking good brews, being gear heads, navigating foreign countries together, camping and backpacking, and falling out of kayaks. Stacey is a part of Jen's chosen family in Maryland and life and the wedding wouldn't be the same without her!

Brooke started talking with Jill at one of Jen’s work holiday parties several years ago. I remember being impressed that she was drinking beer at the time, and an IPA nonetheless! So we bonded over a mutual love of beer and there has been a plethora of beers and other alcoholic libations shared since that party. Jill’s spontaneity adds zest and adventure to my life. Thanks for all your love, and support thru the years and for agreeing to be one of my broomsfolk! Cheers friend, love you!

Jen has known Richie since 1983, when he entered the world and made Jen a big sister (and therefore made Jen have to share their family's time and resources). Jen and Richie's childhood and relationship as kids fits every typical sibling story you've ever heard of, but they've matured in their old age and now get along quite well. They even love each other, you could say.

Brooke met Nathan through Jill, they are husband and wife! Hanging with Nathan there is always sure to be lots of laughter, mixed with deep conversation, a pinch of dreaming, and always some sort of conversation about the both of us moving out West! I love “shit-sticking” thru this world with you, haha! Thanks for your love and support, and for being a part of our special day! I love you!

Thunder and Killy (aka Jen) met a few years ago when Thunder transferred roller derby teams and arrived to Hagerstown, homesick and missing her old friends. It's as if she has always been on the team though, and that's how Killy feels about their friendship. Some of their favorite things to nerd out about together are: personal finance, careers, tracking points, traveling, books, derby strategies, and pets. Some of their favorite things to do together are: play derby (duh), go dancing, eat good food, drink tasty drinks, road trip, and gab.

Aubree is Brooke and Jen's favorite niece, so of course it made sense that she should be in their wedding. Ask her to show you how to fist bump properly! She teaches Aunt Brookie all the cool tricks! Thanks for being a part of our day, we love you so very much!
