Brad and Jen met on the dating app, Hinge! Brad suggested they go mini golfing then get breakfast for dinner for their first date. Jen was pretty impressed with the idea and thought she’d give Brad a shot. They were both smitten with each other after the first date and knew there would be many more dates to come!

One weekend in March, Jen had plans to visit some of her friends. Through painstaking efforts, Brad, Jackie, Amanda and Morgan, formulated a plan to commandeer the girls’ weekend. They surprised Jen by coming to her house instead. Brad had plans to visit his brother, Alec in Wilmington, and would be gone for the day. The weather was not on their side and it turned out to be a snowy Saturday. Fortunately, Jackie suggested and convinced the girls to go to a local nursery she had heard of (really recommended by Jen’s sister, Becca) and all the friends were on board. Since all the girls love plants, this wasn’t something out of the ordinary that the girls would do. Jen was looking at plants when she saw Brad out of the corner of her eye. She had noticed a photographer as well but did not expect in a million years Brad would have hired one. Jen then answered one of the easiest questions when Brad asked her to marry him. As they were celebrating, Jen and Brad’s family surprised Jen to join them after the engagement.

Brad and Jen went on their first date on July 12, 2019. Jen asked Brad to be her boyfriend (minutes before Brad was going to do the same) on September 12, 2019. Brad proposed on March 12, 2022. Oh, and Brad’s soccer number was 12 so we clearly had to keep the number trend going!
