Jen and Alec met on a dating app. Despite a somewhat tardy start to the first date, they quickly bonded over a shared love of outdoor adventures and very cute dogs - even closing out the brewery with the staff. Sparks were flying and a second date came only a few days later, hiking their first mountain together. Many more hiking trips soon followed, including the White Mountains, Acadia, the Rockies, Rainier and countless local adventures - often with 2 dogs in tow. Jen moved further north to be with Alec, eventually moving into Greenfield State Park where Alec works as Park Manager. This past year on the last winter hike of the season, Alec brought along a particularly fancy rock and asked Jen to never stop adventuring with him. She said yes :)
