Four kids, two houses, two dogs, two cities- one "I do"...How hard can it be? Like all good internet dating stories, Jen and Adam’s began with fatigue from revolving-door dating apps. They had matched, exchanged a few light messages, and after several months Jen finally asked if Adam planned to ask her out. They didn't know how to tackle the begging question of how to raise four kids together in two different cities - but after their first date, they both knew they were in for a long, wonderful, and busy life together. After six months of dating—filled with coffee talks, cabin weekends, concerts, and lots of great food—they introduced the kids. Jack seamlessly stepped into the big brother role, while Lucy and Hagen, aka “The Littles,” took over the 3rd row of the Subaru. Beryl, aka “The Biggle,” balances competing with Jack in any sport possible while still finding time to snuggle with the littles. Pumpkin's toxic positivity helped re-socialize Dapper out of his old habits, and at last, a family was formed. Jen and Adam made a home out of two houses. They’ve faced numerous challenges—especially Hagen’s leukemia—without ever seeing them as setbacks. Instead, these obstacles have blessed them with opportunities to deepen their love for eachother. One month after Hagen’s diagnosis, Adam popped the question, famously fumbling the ring down the basement stairs before getting down on one knee—and they haven’t looked back since. Their mantra is “keep it pushin". We feel so fortunate to be supported by so many incredible family and friends - our love would not be possible without you all. We can't wait to celebrate with you in September!
