A great place for pick your own apples. With fresh cider donuts every weekend this is a must-stop.

Bash Bish Falls State Park

State park with a beautiful waterfall. Should be a good place to see fall foliage. The hike to the falls is of difficult ability, about 0.6 miles round-trip. Shorter, more rugged, and strenuous.

A National Trust Historic Site, Chesterwood is the summer home, studio and gardens of sculptor Daniel Chester French, who sculpted the seated figure of Abraham Lincoln for the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, DC. Many of French’s plaster sketches, including models of Abraham Lincoln, are on view at Chesterwood.

Take a scenic 90 minute train ride through the Berkshires. This is a great way to see fall foliage! Also closer to the wedding venue, check out the Berkshire Scenic Railway Lenox Station Museum.

A museum dedicated to the iconic American artist Norman Rockwell. There you can see some of its pieces as well as his studio. Fun fact Normal Rockwell lived in Jena's hometown for 14 years.

Although the Clark is farther away from Great Barrington I couldn't leave it off this list. Jena grew up going to the Clark with her grandparents (Bob and Avon) and holds a special place in her heart. The Clark is a great art museum with beautiful grounds.
