In the throes of the pandemic, Jena was mindlessly swiping on Bumble app one evening and came across a very handsome guy with an infectious smile. A few messages later, we were video chatting (cute top & pajama bottoms, of course), the day Jena considers our first date and what Brad considers a "screening call" (luckily Jena passed the test). On that first call, it felt like we had known each other forever and in a way, our lives have been interconnected all along. This became evident on our first in-person date at Draught 55, when time seemed to disappear as we sat outside drinking beers for hours realizing how much we had in common and how close we have truly been without knowingly crossing paths. Brad lived on the UES just over 20 blocks from Jena, on the exact path she walked almost daily. Brad grew up in Nanuet, the town neighboring New City where Jena's cousins lived and spent most holidays growing up. And not only that, but Brad also spent many summers in the Poconos mere miles from Jena's sleepaway camp. It was always meant to be. Three years later Brad led Jena to believe she was heading to an early Passover celebration, but instead surprised her by proposing in a gazebo overlooking Central Park and the cherry blossoms in bloom. Despite the morning rain & gloom, which almost threw off the plans, the sun came out shortly after the proposal and stayed shining for the rest of the day. We then headed to Tavern on the Green to celebrate - the most iconic New York spot for an iconic New York love story. Over the years, we have shared so many amazing moments and memories together, from our yearly U.S. Open tradition to trips to Costa Rica & Mexico, cabin weekends with close friends, omakase and steakhouse dinners, and spending quality time with our nephews Noah & Aaron (and Jimmy). We are always exploring our passions for culture, food & history together and we are excited to begin this next chapter with our honeymoon adventure to Japan and Hawaii! We can't wait to celebrate with all of you!!
