We're Getting Married!

We went back to the place where we first met, Salisbury School. I was under the impression one of his favorite teachers was retiring and we were going to celebrate. Before we went to the party he asked if we could go take photos by the boathouse, this beautiful spot by the lake. We are on the dock and Oliver started to get super nervous and sweaty, (it didn't help that it was one of the hottest days of the summer) so i asked, "what are you doing," he replied, "what do you think i'm doing?" I immediately started jumping up and down knowing that after 9 years together we were going to make it official! He got down on one knee and of course I said, YES! Next thing I know I hear both sets of our parents scream from behind "SHE SAID YES?!" I was shocked and so happy they were there to see our proposal. Then Oliver looks at me and says, "wait theres more." then I see all our closest family and friends run out of hiding in the boathouse. I was SO happy to see the most important people in our life share our special moment together! That weekend was filled with an amazing surprise engagement party on the hottest weekend of the summer, but we wouldn't of wanted it any other way! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in September!
