Things To Do

If you find yourself with some extra time beyond the wedding weekend, we’ve rounded up a few fun things to check out in and around the area. Happy exploring!

Jupiter Lighthouse

The iconic Jupiter lighthouse is a must see for its panoramic ocean and river views. Take a tour and then learn about the local history in the adjacent museum.

Golf

The Jupiter area is full of iconic golf courses. Click the link below to see a list of places nearby.

Loggerhead Marine Life Center

Loggerhead Marine Life Center is a non profit that focuses on marine conservation. This is a unique spot where you can see protected sea turtles up close as they are rehabilitated from injury. It’s very interesting and educational.

Guanabanas

This is an institution in Palm Beach County. Go for the fun tropical vibe, water views and live music. Great for lunch, dinner and cocktails.

1000 North

One of our favorite spots for steak or seafood. 1000 NORTH is one of South Florida’s premier waterfront restaurants with four unique dining areas. Enjoy stunning views of the Jupiter Lighthouse and Intracoastal Waterway. Michael Jordan is one of the founding partners. This hot spot won’t disappoint.

The Beacon

Good spot for outdoor dining. Their seasonal menu celebrates Jupiter’s fishing heritage, offering seafood dishes sourced locally daily.

Blackbird

Want a cool vibe? This is it. Asian fusion with creative dishes and a super stylish atmosphere.

A day in Palm Beach

Palm Beach is fabulous! For those of you extending your stay, this is worth the visit. It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from our recommended hotels in Jupiter. Here’s our list to check out…

Seafood Bar at The Breakers Hotel

This historic hotel is a stunner. A must see. The HMF lounge is where we celebrated our engagement! Grab an app or drink. Then snag a seat at the Seafood Bar and watch while schools of colorful fish glide through the illuminated aquarium built right into the bar itself!

The Honor Bar

Our favorite local spot for lunch. Get the kale salad with rotisserie chicken or the famous chicken sandwich.

Worth Avenue

Walk around and check out the high end shops. There are several wonderful restaurants here as well. You never know who you may run into on Worth Avenue.

The Colony Hotel

There’s always something fun happening at the Colony Hotel. This is very Palm Beach. Dress your best and check out one of the glamorous indoor/outdoor spots. Swifty’s is our favorite spot. You will love it!

The Ben Rooftop

Want a spot with an unbelievable view? Check out the rooftop restaurant and bar at The Ben Hotel in West Palm. Spruzzo (Italian for Splash) offers downtown’s only water-facing rooftop lounge, a full bar and creative menus, focused on tapas and small bites with Mediterranean flair. It has a bird’s eye view of Palm Harbor Marina, the Intracoastal Waterway, and Palm Beach Island.

Pink Steak

We couldn’t have a list without mentioning Pink Steak. This is where we got engaged! Get ready for a one of a kind spot with delicious food, a crazy cool atmosphere and flamingo flare everywhere! Don’t let the location next to a grocery store fool you. It’s an experience worth checking out.
