Question
Are the ceremony and reception at the same location?
Answer
No, the ceremony and reception will be held at different locations. Directions and addresses are provided on our Schedule page on the website. There will be a long gap between the ceremony and reception to allow the couple to take photographs. After the ceremony, we invite guests to enjoy this time at their leisure, and then join us for the celebration at the reception with cocktail hour starting at 5:30 p.m.

Is there transportation to and from the ceremony to the hotel?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. We ask our guests to please find their own way to the ceremony and reception. Please plan accordingly and find proper accommodation if you plan to enjoy drinks at the reception.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly at 12:00 pm.

What time is cocktail hour and the reception?
Answer
Cocktail hour will take place from 5:30–6:30 PM at the reception venue, followed by the evening program beginning at 6:30 PM. Dancing will take place after the program.

What am I supposed to do after the ceremony and before the reception?
Answer
You'll have approximately 4.5 hours between the conclusion of the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour—plenty of time to do whatever feels right for you. Whether you'd like to grab a bite to eat, head home for a quick rest, or simply enjoy some quiet time, this break is yours to spend as you wish.

Will there be parking available?
Answer
Yes, parking is available at both venues. The church has a spacious lot, and guests can also use the adjacent Calgary Transit lot at no cost. Parking is also available at the reception venue.

Are there hotel room blocks for guest?
Answer
Yes! We've reserved a room block at our reception venue for your convenience. Visit our Travel section for all the details, including booking codes, group rates, and reservation deadlines. We recommend booking early to ensure availability.

Will you pay for our hotel room?

Hotel accommodations are your personal responsibility, including any associated charges with your booking.

What is the food situation?
Answer
We're hosting an all-you-can-eat buffet at our reception, followed by dessert and a snack bar. Dinner service runs for 1.5 hours.

I have dietary restrictions, what do I do/who do I contact?

We'd love to accommodate your dietary needs! Please reach out to us directly, and we'll make sure everything is taken care of.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Our wedding is invite-only, and we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. You can confirm your invitation details using the name search feature in the RSVP section of our website. If your circumstances have changed, please feel free to reach out to us and we’ll review on a case-by-case basis.

Are children allowed?

We're delighted to celebrate with you and your loved ones! Children are welcome at our wedding. Your RSVP card will indicate which children in your family are invited. We do ask that all children remain respectful during the ceremony and reception.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
There will be an unsubsidized cash bar, with the exception of a “Flor de Caña Special” available for $2. Non-alcoholic drinks such as pop and juice are available free of charge. There will also be a “Flor de Caña Special” available for $2 at the bar.

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. For those who wish to give, contributions toward our future together are warmly welcomed.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Black tie optional. Formal evening attire is encouraged—tuxedos or suits for gentlemen, and formal gowns or cocktail dresses for the ladies. No specific color required; wear whatever you feel your best in! The only request is to please avoid white and shades of blue!

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please respond by September 1, 2026. Due to venue and catering requirements, we won't be able to accommodate late responses.
