Directions

Entering from Asylum Avenue is the quickest way to the parking lots and the Pond House Café. From the West (I-84 heading East): Exit 44, Prospect Avenue Straight ahead to the light Left onto Prospect Avenue, drive 2 miles Turn left onto Asylum Avenue The Park entrance will be on the left From the East (I-84 heading West): Exit 48, Asylum Avenue Drive 2 miles on Asylum Avenue Turn left into the Park OR Exit 44, Prospect Avenue Drive to the end of the short ramp Right at the light onto Kane Street Left onto Prospect Avenue, drive 2 miles, and turn onto Asylum Avenue Turn left into the Park From the North or South (I-91 heading North or South): Follow signs to I-84 West toward Waterbury Exit 48, Asylum Avenue Drive 2 miles on Asylum Avenue Turn left into the Park

Parking

Parking is allowed on the roads in the Park in designated spots. There are four parking lots in the Park. Two are near the greenhouses, one is near the picnic area and a small lot is located at Sunrise Overlook right off Prospect Avenue. There are many parking spots along the road in the Western Loop. Parking is also permitted on Prospect Avenue and many area side streets. There is some parking allowed on Asylum Avenue near the Little League fields. Please obey the parking signs, and do not park on the grass areas in the Park. In August, the park is especially beautiful, so you may want to allow a few extra minutes to arrive, park, and enjoy the walk to the venue.
