Will there be a cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception?

Yes! This is a family party- all ages are welcome. We have plenty of activities and fun planned for everyone.

Can we bring dogs?

Answer

While we love pets and animals, the venue has a strict no animal policy, so we ask you leave them at home for the evening.

What should I wear?

Answer

We suggest cocktail attire for both ceremony and reception. If you feel comfortable rocking a jersey and nice slacks, great! Or, if you'd rather wear more formal wedding attire and represent your team's colors, that is great too. Note both the ceremony and reception are outdoors. The ceremony is on grass.

Burbank Airport is 21 miles away (between 30-45 minutes) Ontario Airport is 30 miles away (between 1 hr and 1 hr 15 minutes) Los Angeles International Airport is 36 miles away (between 1 hr 15 minutes and 1 hr 30 minutes) Long Beach Airport is 33 miles away (between 1 hr 10 minutes and 1 hr 20 minutes away)

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking! You can park at the South Gate. Here are some directions: Gate 8 is the patron entrance off of Baldwin Ave. It's the best entrance for South Admission Gate, Horsemen Entrance, and Executive Offices. General and Handicapped parking available. TRAVELING WEST ON THE 210 FREEWAY From the 210 West, exit Baldwin Ave. Turn right on Foothill Blvd., then right on Baldwin Ave. Go south on Baldwin Ave. until you see the entrance to Gate #8 (look for a signboard). Turn left into Gate #8. Stay left at the fork to enter Santa Anita Park. TRAVELING EAST ON THE 210 FREEWAY From the 210 East, exit Baldwin Ave. Make a right on Baldwin Ave. Go south on Baldwin Ave. until you see the entrance to Gate #8 (look for large signboard). Turn left into Gate #8. Stay left at the fork to enter Santa Anita Park.

Can I rideshare to the venue?

Yes, you'll select Santa Anita Park Gate 3 for closest entry.

Will there be food?

Answer

YES. Both our families believe in too much food for any occasion.

I have dietary restrictions- will those be accomodated?

Answer

Yes! Dinner is a buffet with options for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, and other needs. Feel free to reach out if you are concerned or have questions.

Can I invite someone/Do I get a "plus 1"?

Answer

We've made sure everyone has a guest! You can confirm the names of all invited members of your party when you fill out your RSVP form.

Can I take photos and video during the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We encourage photos and will have a QR code to share them. We ask that you do not interfere with the professional photographers, videographers, and people behind you. We also ask that you refrain from posting the ceremony on social media.

Is there a room block?

Answer

Yes! There is a room block at the Le Méridien Pasadena Arcadia that has been extended to June 5th. The link is on the "travel" page. Transportation will be provided before the ceremony and at the end of the evening to the hotel.

Am I going to get sunburned!?

Answer

The ceremony is outside, but under umbrellas. The cocktail hour is under cover. The reception is outside without cover, but there will be shade.
