Question

Things to do in Baltimore

Answer

If this is your first time coming to Baltimore we have put together a list of our favorite places you can check out during your visit. 1. Baltimore National Aquarium- We love the aquarium! We have been on some of our best dates at the aquarium and highly recommend if your spending an extra day in the area to make the stop. 2. Oriole Park- Our wedding will be two week after opening day! A day at Oriole Park is a fun and cheap way to spend the day as some tickets can be bought as low as $13. (unless they are playing the Yankees or the Phillies then there is a price surge) 3.Irvine Nature Center- Though not exactly in Baltimore City. Irvine Nature Center is a multi-acre hiking trail north of the city. It is also an animal sanctuary, we are annual members and stop by constantly to say hi to our vulture and possum friends. 4. Fort McHenry- A piece of history in the Fed Hill Neighborhood. You can go to Fort McHenry and check out the old battle grounds. Food Experiences 1. Paper Moon Cafe- Paper Moon is essentially an art exhibit you can have a great breakfast in. 2. Sunday Morning Farmers Market- The Farmers Market is a great place to try multi cultural foods in one place while shopping for fresh produce at the same time! 3. Tapas Teatro- One of our favorite spots. Tapas Teatro serves authentic Spanish Tapas. 4. Walk around Fells Point or Hampden. Fells Point and Hampden offers multiple places to eat while seeing eccentric historic parts of the city. If you just go for a walk in either one of these neighborhoods you will find food.

Question

Will there be an Open bar?

Answer

There will be an open mimosa bar and specialized cocktails at the wedding. There will also be plenty of NA options and beer.

Question

Where can we stay during the weekend?

Answer

We are reserving a block at the Double Tree Hilton in Laurel, Maryland. It is a 13 minute drive to the wedding venue. If your preference is an Airbnb, we suggest looking for Airbnb in the Laurel or Savage, Maryland areas.
