Who thought swiping right on Tinder would lead us to find the love we have always been waiting for. After finally working up the courage and laying on my southern charm thick for the most beautiful woman I had ever seen and was dumbfounded that she had swiped right back on me. I drove from Mission Valley up to Oceanside to pick up a true California dime for our first date, not knowing that I would be meeting the girl of my dreams, the yin to my yang, my lobster, and my best friend. I pulled up in my giant black truck and waited as patiently as I could. I let her know I arrived and got out to open her door, walked back around and I could only imagine what her thoughts were, "what the hell does she need this big ass truck for? You can barely see her head when she walks in front of the truck? What is she trying to overcompensate for?" I drove us down the way to Carlsbad to the Strawberry Shack where she got a strawberry lavender sundae and I got the strawberry tiramisu. We walked across to the beach and ate and talked for hours about life and growing up and just about everything, mostly Jelly talked I just listened. But I liked listening to her talk, still do if you can believe it.

On the anniversary of when Stephani asked Jelly to be her girlfriend, she planned an entire trip to Santa Barbara. Under the guise of a photo shoot and beach picnic for our anniversary, Stephani planned everything beautifully.
