We're getting married

Fresh out of college, Kelsey embarked on her professional journey in Phoenix, where fate introduced her to Adejuwon. Their connection felt like destiny, as if orchestrated by God’s fate. Adejuwon, well-versed in desert life, became Kelsey's guide, and soon their friendship evolved into a deep love. A year after meeting they were faced with the hurdles of long distance when Kelsey was transferred to Washington D.C. , they found strength and resilience, both individually and as a couple. When the pandemic hit in March 2020, Adejuwon's visit led to an unexpected quarantine together, strengthening their bond and affirming their commitment. They often joke that surviving 60 days in a studio apartment was a testament to their endurance. After the pandemic, Kelsey and Adejuwon decided to relocate to Texas to be closer to their families. Their shared passion for exploration has taken them to captivating destinations such as Jamaica, Italy, Greece, Switzerland, the Dominican Republic, and Nigeria. Through overcoming various challenges, they have emerged as a formidable power couple, their relationship fortified by the trials they've conquered together.

If you know anything about Kelsey, you know it's nearly impossible to keep secrets from her. While Kelsey was planning the perfect Fourth of July vacation getaway, Adejuwon was coordinating with the resort for a special surprise. The real challenge was concealing it from her once they arrived at the resort, especially with the ring. To keep Kelsey occupied, she arranged birthday surprises for Adejuwon, which helped distract her while he finalized his plans. He orchestrated a beautiful evening beachfront proposal with candles illuminating the shore, a pathway of rose petals leading to a 'Marry Me' sign, all set to her favorite song playing in the background.
