Flight
Seatac airport (SEA) is approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes from Chelan. Be sure to consider rush hour in the Seattle area as this could definitely lengthen the trip. It's a beautiful drive across the Cascade mountains to Chelan!
Flight
Spokane airport (GEG) is approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes from Chelan. The airport is located on the Western edge of Spokane so traffic isn’t much of a consideration. The drive is less scenic than diving from Seattle but still very pretty in some areas; especially driving near the Columbia River gorge.
Flight
Wenatchee airport (EAT) offers the closest airport to Chelan; about a 55 minute drive. Nearly all flights into Wenatchee will necessitate a layover in Seattle.
Travel Note
Ubers and Taxis are often not available in Chelan. Please plan your transportation accordingly. There are many great options for lodging within Chelan. Below are just a few that we have personal experience with and can easily recommend. Feel free to browse online for other options as well. If you're finding limited availability we highly suggest checking Vrbo or AirBnB as many private condo rentals are listed there only.
Hotel
If you want to be in downtown near all the restaurants/bars/shopping, this is the place to be. Rooms can be a little pricey but the location can’t be beat. Gorgeous views up the lake as well and includes beach access.
House Or Rental
Nice condos on the south shore of Lake Chelan with full kitchens if you don’t want to go out every night. Indoor pool and hot tub and easy access to the gorgeous Lakeside park (there are not a lot of spots with public lake access, this park is one of 2 near the town of Chelan). Located about 3 miles from the wedding venue.
Hotel
Great lake views from this hotel which is located next to Lakeside Park (about 3 miles from the wedding venue). Hotel has excellent amenities including indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Breakfast is included as well.
House Or Rental
This is a very popular place for families to stay. You can rent an entire house and enjoy all the amenities the community has to offer (swimming pools, hot tubs, beach, marina, parks, playgrounds, etc.) The Lookout is approximately a 5 minute drive from downtown Chelan.
Hotel
Excellent budget option in close proximity to downtown Chelan.
