In light of COVID-19 and the health and safety of our loved ones, there have been a few changes to the way the day will go. The biggest things are that all tables will be 6 feet apart, and some tables are smaller to accomodate social grouping. While masks are only recommended and not required for majority of the event, they are required while going through the buffet line to ensure no food contamination. Other than that, you are welcome to wear a mask as much or as little as you would like! We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable, so please keep this in mid when interacting with others. The other big change is that we will no longer be dancing inside after the reception. Instead, the party will be moved outside, so ladies, bring extra shoes if needed. Please text Rachelle at 303-827-5747 if you have any questions about the steps we are taking so that we can all have fun and still be safe!
The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Due to the nature of the ceremony set-up, we will not allow you to be seated if you are late. Please allow yourself around 15-45 minutes to get parked and picked up by the shuttle up to the building (no one wants to run up the mountain in heels)!
We’re so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest, and are hoping to keep the guest list limited. We have already thought about those who would need a plus-one, and their online RSVP will have an option for a guest. Same goes for the children that are invited. If you do not think we have anticipated your plus-one, please text Shelley at 303-868-1863.
Yes, there will! We will be providing a limited amount of beer and champagne before switching to a cash bar. If you intend on drinking, no matter your age, remember to bring your ID! Our venue will card everyone, and we want to be sure everyone has the opportunity to drink if they would like. Again, there is no Uber or Lyft, so please take care when deciding how much to drink and when. We want to be sure that everyone makes it back to their hotels or back into Denver safely!
Although you are welcome to have your phone (or camera), we would appreciate if you keep it in your pocket or bag during the ceremony. People taking pictures above the heads of those around them is one of Shelley’s biggest pet peeves, and we will have plenty of pictures of the ceremony thanks to our photographer. That being said, please feel free to take pictures of the fun during cocktail hour and the reception! (As long as your not in the way of the photographer of course!)
No tuxedos, no swimming trunks, but something in-between will be great. Think Easter church service, going to a musical, or taking family pictures during the fancy night on a cruise. If all else fails, Pinterest is a beautiful place for inspiration ;)
If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, there is a question at the bottom of the RSVP page that asks for that information. If you have already submitted your RSVP and did not include dietary restrictions, please contact Rachelle at 303-827-5747.
