Bridesmaid
Katie and I(Lauren) met for the first time when I was 20, but we did not become friends until I was 30 because I decided that I didn't like Katie.....oops! It wasn't until Katie cornered me and forced me to talk to her one evening that I realized we had so much in common, and would be lifelong friends. Katie quickly became part of the Jelinski family and since that time, we have gone on vacations together, and travel back and forth to visit each other as much as possible! Katie resides in Winnipeg, and will also be getting married this summer to her fiance Eric, who has quickly become a good friend of myself and Jeremy. We are so excited to be planning our weddings at the same time!
Bridesmaid
Rona is Jeremy's older sister! Rona and I met through Jeremy(of course), and when we met, we quickly became close friends. We have enjoyed so many good times together, which definitely includes some incredibly talented karaoke nights. Rona has 2 sons, Alex who is 7 and Jake who is 6, and they reside right here in Saskatoon. I'm so excited to have Rona by my side as a bridesmaid for the wedding, as she is not only a friend, but will soon be a sister of mine!
Groomsman
Mitchell and Jeremy are childhood friends. Growing up, they enjoyed playing video games and camping. Mitchell works with social services, and carries on his caring nature with his friends and family. He is always the first person around to lend a helping hand, and the last to leave. Present day, Mitchell and Jeremy can be found playing video games and camping.
Groomsman
Matthew "Dubs" Wolsfeld and Jeremy met in high school and became instant best friends. They bonded over their love for music and all things pop culture. Over the years they went on to working together at a calling centre, became roommates, and eventually turned in to neighbours. Matthew has many talents and interests from being a jazz pianist in a big band, to crocheting detailed projects of cute monsters. Matthew and Jeremy have recognized that when life pulls them in different directions, they will still always be there for each other.
Officiant
Ray is my amazing dad! He is one of the Pastors of a church in Regina, and the one I grew up in. Ever since I was young, it was my dream to have my dad officiate my wedding, and it is such an honour to have him marry myself and Jeremy. My dad is one of my closest friends, and such a great travel buddy and we have been on so many amazing adventures together. I'm so excited to not only have him marry me, but walk me down the aisle as well!
