Flight
The closest and most convenient airport for your trip to Sousse is Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN). It’s about a 1.5 to 2-hour drive from Sousse, and there are several transport options to get you to your destination, including taxis, private transfers, and rental cars. For flights, we’ve frequently used Air France, Alitalia, and KLM, which offer great service and connections to Tunis.
Travel Note
Tunisia is 5 hours ahead of Toronto, and most flights departing from Toronto typically leave in the afternoon or evening. Considering layover times, you can expect to arrive in the afternoon of the following day. Please keep this in mind when planning your travel!
Shuttle

For guests flying in on August 9th, we’ve arranged a shuttle from Tunis-Carthage International Airport to the hotels in Sousse. If we have a large number of people arriving that day, we’ll schedule a second shuttle to accommodate everyone. If you plan to arrive on August 10th or 11th and enough guests need transportation, we’ll organize a shuttle for that day as well. We’ll confirm all shuttle arrangements after receiving the RSVPs, so be sure to let us know your travel plans! Shuttle time TBD.
Hotel
Approx. price per night (based on a double occupancy room): $200 - $250 CAD. ~ $125/person/per night. Approx. price (for a typical 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom unit): $350 - $500 per night For guests seeking a more home-like experience, there are plenty of Airbnb options available in the scenic El Kantaoui region of Sousse. Many properties offer spacious accommodations with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, comfortably fitting up to six adults. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen and cozy living spaces while being close to beautiful beaches and local attractions. This is a great way to experience Tunisia with family or friends!
Travel Note
To make the most of our wedding festivities, we recommend arriving by August 9th, 2025. This will give you a chance to join us for all the pre-wedding celebrations starting on August 11th. The wedding day itself is on August 14th, but if you'd like to unwind and relax afterward, consider staying until August 15th or longer! Of course, you're welcome to arrive earlier or extend your stay—there’s plenty to see and do in and around Sousse and Tunisia. Let us know if you need any help with planning your trip, and we’ll be happy to suggest activities and local experiences to fill your extra days. For the best deals, we recommend booking your tickets around 6 to 7 months in advance.
