Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Abbie Jones and Adam Jehle
ST. LOUIS: LAND OF THE FREE, HOME OF THE BRIDE'S FAMILY Turn this wedding into a Midwest mini vacation! Below are some of the best STL has to offer, many of which are free. Do yourself a favor and have fun for us!
City Museum

City Museum

750 North 16th Street, St. Louis, MO 63103

How do you explain the City Museum... Well, it's not a museum about the city, that's for sure! An immersive, jungle gym of an art installation, the City Museum hosts many different landscapes to explore. A giant whale to climb in, 10 foot shoe slides that end in a full blown cavern, and an actual circus with acrobatic acts make up for probably a 1/10th of the attractions inside. We recommend wearing sneakers and clothes you can crawl around in. This is a favorite of literally everyone. Single day tickets are $20, but FREE on the day of the wedding to RSVP'd guests Parking varies, but is paid

Saint Louis Zoo

Saint Louis Zoo

Outside of just animals, you can ride the train through multiple stops, view the new Dinosaurs exhibit, and much more all while surrounded with original architecture from the 1904 World's Fair. An added advantage of going in November is that all the animals are out and about, and herds of kids are not! This is a favorite of everyone Zoo admission is FREE Parking varies, but there is a LOT of free parking

Relax on a scenic tram ride through the open pastures of a multitude of cohabitating animals. While on the tram, you'll learn the history of the farm, see Ulysses S. Grant's hand-built cabin, and learn more about the Anheuser-Busch family. Once you disembark into the German fairytale style Tiergarten, the real party starts with goat and camel feedings, animal shows, and CAPYBARAS. Here, you can start working on the 3 free drinks they give you. Finally, you make your way to the carriage house to explore and eat. This is a perfect, laid back half-day adventure.
