When and where is the wedding?

Answer

We are saying "I do" on 11/21/2026 at The Brooklyn Arts Center- 516 N 4th St, Wilmington, NC 28401. Ceremony first, party after! There will be a two hour gap in between the end of the ceremony and the cocktail hour.

What time should I get there?

Answer

Please arrive by 3:15 so you can grab a seat and get settled.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Check your invitation to see who’s invited. If your guest’s name is listed, then yes—otherwise, we’re keeping things cozy.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration so everyone can let loose. (Parents, consider this your night off! 😉)

What should I wear?

Answer

Something to dance in of course! We also kindly ask that you come in your best dressed semi formal attire. Think tea length or floor length dresses for women, and a sports coat/ jacket for men.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will take place outdoors.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. The venue is either a 5 or 10 minute walk, depending on what hotel you are at. Ubers are also available to order.

Where can I park?

Answer

There will be free street parking all around the venue. Although, we do suggest walking or ubering to the wedding.

Where can I go for the two hour break?

Answer

Some of our favorite bars in Wilmington are close to the church we hope you can try some out! -The Eagle's Dare: 1.5 blocks to the left when you walk out of The BAC -Flytrap Brewing: two blocks to the left when you walk out of The BAC -Edward Teach: one block to the right when you walk out of The BAC -Goat and Compass Pub: three blocks to the right when you walk out of The BAC If you choose to opt out of heading to a bar in between, we suggest heading back to the hotel. Both hotels are a quick uber away and they provide their own bar as well.

Can I bring in outside alcoholic beverages?

Answer

No. The BAC has a very strict no outside drinks allowed on site. We kindly ask that you leave any drinks where you last were.
