Curtis and Krista met on a dating site and began talking, after a few weeks they decided to meet in early March, 2021 for dinner. Krista had jokingly mentioned the want to have a chicken wing contest not thinking to be taken up on it; so Curtis and Krista agreed to eat at Wendell’s in Norton, MA. The whole night was full of butterflies, smiles, laughter and of course a contest (complete with a stop watch) to see who could clean a flat wing faster. (Still to this day Krista would tell you that Curtis had cheated; and if you asked Curtis he would say knowledge is power and it was a fair win!) it was definitely in that moment they realized they were meant to be; as not many people can be goofy and vulnerable with each other on the first date. From there they continued to get to know each other and go on a few more dates that all felt magical and at the end of the month they had begun dating officially! A few more weeks in, Krista had finally got to meet her two beautiful future step children Alexa and Alanna and the connections were instant. Thus begun the new family unit! Krista had moved in a few months later and after a year and a half of living together and 2 years of dating they announced a big surprise! There was more to love coming and they had their handsome son Curtis JR in January, 2024. When their 3rd anniversary came up in 2024 Curtis and Krista went out for dinner to celebrate. Krista left the table to use the restroom after finishing dinner and Curtis used the opportunity to ask the waiter to deliver the ring he had been carrying around all day with dessert. The moment was beautiful and heartwarming and of course she said yes!
