Glacier Natl Park

The Wedding Website of Jeff Wilson and Melissa Cope
Only 138 miles north of Missoula, Glacier National Park is a prime Montana fall destination. The park is very special to the bride and groom, and equally means a great deal to the groom's mom Jan - a long-time ranger in the park starting at the age of 19. You no longer need a timed entry permit to enter Glacier at the westside gates after September 8, 2024.
Question

Glacier Park Must-Sees

Drive Going-to-the-Sun Road for breathtaking mountain vistas and reach Logan Pass for panoramic views. See Lake McDonald, the park's largest lake, reflecting the surrounding peaks in its pristine waters. Look out for historic lodges and charming villages along the way.

Hitting the Trails

Answer

Hike the iconic Highline Trail for stunning mountain scenery (32 miles) or choose shorter options like Hidden Lake (5.1 miles) for impressive views. Take on the moderate challenge of Avalanche Lake for a beautiful alpine experience (4.5 miles round trip). Explore the east side with hikes to Grinnell Glacier (12 miles) or along the pristine shores of Swiftcurrent and Josephine Lakes (up to 5.5 miles).
