The moment we met, I knew there was something special. We met at a birthday barbeque for my best friend, Brian, who also happens to be Tiff’s cousin. We hit it off chatting and paired up to be pong partners together. After going on an epic win streak, we sat and talked together for hours into the evening. Our conversation flowed seamlessly and everything about that day was so genuine and natural. That day was not just a day to celebrate Brian’s birthday; it is now a time to celebrate the day that I met the most special person to ever come into my life.
It was a beautiful Saturday in September, 2021 when we went on our second date in Central Park. It was the most simple date where we walked along the paths, found a bench, and sat for hours talking, watching the world go by around us. Since that day, Central Park has held a special place in our hearts. The day of the proposal, I had convinced Tiff we were going to Central Park to meet up with my sisters to celebrate them moving into the city. The day began with a torrential rain storm, which made us both doubt whether our trek into the city would even happen. Minutes before the car arrived, the sun came out, making it the most miraculous day. I proposed to Tiff at Summerhouse at the Dene, adding another reason why Central Park is so special to us. We later had a surprise celebration where we partied the night away with family and friends. A perfect end to the most perfect day. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you at Marina Del Rey!
