Our favorite places in Half Moon Bay! Some require a bit of a drive, but there are more restaurants and attractions within walking distance of the Oceano that we haven't highlighted. Please explore the area!

Local favorite known for their fresh seafood (especially calamari!) served overlooking the ocean. No reservations and cash only. Can get busy, but worth the wait! Across the street from the Oceano.

Barbara's Fishtrap

Casual brewery with food and local craft beer offerings, particularly known for their diverse selection of ales and lagers. Grab a drink here if you're waiting for a table at Barbara's Fishtrap - also steps away from the Oceano.

Half Moon Bay Brewing Company

Visit downtown Half Moon bay and explore a variety of unique boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and cafes.

Downtown Half Moon Bay - Main Street

Famous beach known for big wave surfing. Don't recommend catching a wave - but a great walk along the beach! Can be accessed through the West Shoreline Access path, although the trail can be unstable so please be careful.

Mavericks Beach

Unique brunch and lunch spot next to the Half Moon Bay Airport. Enjoy a meal while watching planes take off and land at the small community airport.
