Weather permitting, the ceremony is in an open-air courtyard located directly across the street from Riff City Social (next to the Buffalo Cider Hall). In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will occur at the venue space, Riff City Social. The cocktail hour and reception will take place at Riff City Social, located at 166 Chandler Street.
There is ample parking at the venue and we have been assured that they do no tow and that parking is safe, though un-monitored. If you do not have a car or do not want to drive (can't blame you!) there is good Lyft and Uber coverage in Buffalo.
Yes and yes - we have been assured that parking is safe (though unmonitored) and ample and that they do not tow.
We were hoping you'd ask! The ceremony will begin at 4pm, please aim to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to start time for parking purposes. If you're early, there's a lovely wine and cider hall that share the courtyard space!
We would love to see our friends and family dressed up and ready to party. Cocktail attire/semi-formal is recommended (this means nicer dresses for the ladies, suits or button down shirts/ties for the gentleman).
If you received a plus one, your guest will be listed on your invitation and will show up when you RSVP. We would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible.
While we love all of our littlest friends and family, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception adult only. Let loose!
Yes! Drinks are on us, the hangover and consequences are on you.
We would love our family and friends to be in the moment with us, so we are kindly requesting an unplugged ceremony and to let our wonderful photographer, Chelsea, to do all the hard work. We will have a moment in the ceremony where we let everyone get some photos out of their system so don't worry, you will have your chance. Photos and videos are welcome and encouraged during the cocktail hour and reception!
For all of our out of town guests, believe it or not it doesn't ACTUALLY snow year round in scenic Buffalo. Octobers are typically beautiful fall weather, low 60s-high 50s during the day with maybe a dip into the high 40s at night. Rain, on the other hand, might be on the table (word has it that it's 'lucky' but that is yet to be seen) -- we recommend keeping an eye on the forecast as it gets closer, but you can leave the parkas and snow boots at home.
