The week before graduating from Wake Forest, we decided to make a pre-move trip from NC to Cincinnati to get our new home situated. We packed our cars to the brim and spent the entire week working on our new house. The final night, we decided to go out and get dinner to celebrate the big move. We scrubbed the dried paint off of our hands and made the trip downtown to Senate, one of our favorite restaurants in Cincinnati. After a delicious meal, we returned home to our empty house with no furniture except for an air mattress on the living room floor. Payton had planned to do a video walkthrough of the house to show her family the progress, but as she walked into the living room, Jeffrey grabbed her phone and stopped the video. He gave her a big hug, and she asked him why he was being so weird! Then, he got down on one knee and proposed right there in the living room, and the rest is history! We got engaged in Cincinnati and have grown to love our new city. We know most of you will be travelling from all over to come celebrate with us, and we are very excited to show you our new home.
