It all began on a warm summer night in 2017 at a local bar, where fate—or more accurately, the matchmaking skills of bridesmaid Gabby—brought Jeff and Morgan together. Jeff, ever the gentleman, closed down the bar that night (a skill he’s since retired), only to be met with a surprise message from the beautiful girl he had just met. Little did he know, that one message would change his life forever. From that night on, the two spent countless hours talking, laughing, and figuring out how to make a long-distance relationship work. Then, in 2019, their paths finally aligned in Barrie, and their love story truly took off. Naturally, the next step was to find a house together—but the world had other plans. Enter the dark days of 2020-2022. If there’s ever been a true test of love, it’s surviving quarantine together for almost two years. Lucky for them, they passed with flying colors. When the world reopened, Jeff and Morgan were eager to start their next chapter. They packed up and headed back to where it all began—North Bay. But first, they made a little detour… and by “detour,” they meant adopting their first-born son, Bobby the black lab. Just the three of them, ready to take on the world (or at least the Ontario wilderness). Fast forward to late 2023: Jeff planned an incredible adventure, hiking through the stunning red rocks of Sedona. After days of breathtaking views and slightly sore legs, he finally dropped to one knee and asked Morgan to marry him. Spoiler alert: She said yes! Nine months later, the greatest adventure of all began—welcoming baby Rose into the world in July 2024. Now, with their little family complete (for now… no more surprise additions, we promise!), there’s just one last thing left to do: make it official! So, in December 2025, we invite you to join us in beautiful Punta Cana, where Morgan Schwindt will finally become Morgan Taylor. It’s been one heck of a journey, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you!
