In the words of someone more creative than us: "The pandemic isn't over just because you're over it!" We will have immunocompromised friends and family at this event, so for their protection, as well as our community as a whole, please be sure you are up-to-date on your vaccine(s) and boosters and that you test before you travel. We love you, but we'd rather celebrate with you virtually than risk anyone's health or life!

As soon as possible, please! This will make planning for catering, supplies and day-of necessities much more convenient. Firm deadline May 1st!

Yes! We are expecting anywhere between 20-30 children, so plenty of opportunities to make some new friends!

Answer

Cocktail attire is preferred. We encourage you to wear something vibrant and cheery! Think floral, sparkle, spring, garden party. If the weather cooperates, we will be having our ceremony outdoors. Those of you familiar with our temperamental Oregon weather can attest to the fact that we really don't know what the day will look like, temperature- and precipitation-wise, so we recommend you check the weather report in advance!

Yes! That is in our Travel section, but we'll go over it here since you're here now! We will not be having Block Rooms for the hotels below. We want to provide you with some options! McMenamins Edgefield is by far the closest and most convenient hotel (and, allegedly, it's a little haunted). The Aloft Hotel is the closest to PDX Airport for those of you on tight schedules.

Yes! The travel section has all the details, but since you're here, here you go! *Parking: There will be parking at the Troutdale House, it is first come first serve parking with several Handicap parking spots available. There is also street parking available nearby (as of now, there is no charge for parking). *The event space is right off the East Historic Columbia River Highway, so just be alert when crossing, especially with children. If you're staying at the McMenamins Edgefield Hotel, its under a 5 Minute Tax/Uber/Lyft ride. ***Tax/Uber/Lyft Rides from the Airport: Usually costs around $20-$30 without tip to the Troutdale area, depending on how busy it is. ***Tax/Uber/Lyft Rides from McMenamins Edgefield Hotel to the Event: Usually costs around $10-$20 depending on how busy it is.
