We can’t help but feel that God’s hand was written all over our story. So many pieces fell perfectly into place before we ever met — new friendships formed, new opportunities arose, and a simple decision to spend an evening out with friends of friends led our paths to cross. St. Patrick’s Day, a holiday that once held little meaning for us individually, now represents the beautiful beginning of our love story. That weekend, Bailee Tahja invited her new friend Kenedy to join a group of friends from Duluth — one of whom happened to be Jeffrey (or cousin, depending on who’s telling the story!). From that night, everything seemed to fall into place. Just one week later, we went on our first date, and it didn’t take long for us to realize that something extraordinary had begun. Despite the distance, opposite work schedules, and all of life’s little challenges, we both knew early on that this was the love we had been waiting for. Now, as we prepare to promise each other forever, we look back in awe at how every moment — big and small — led us here. With hearts full of gratitude, we can’t wait to celebrate the start of our forever surrounded by the people who have loved and supported us along the way.

Santorini, Greece — a place of breathtaking beauty, endless blue waters, and, as it turns out, the setting for one of the most unforgettable moments of our lives. What began as a surprise Airbnb stay quickly turned into something far more special. With sweeping views of the Aegean Sea as our backdrop, my sister Kaylee and brother-in-law Shaun helped create a scene straight out of a dream. Shaun captured every moment behind the camera, while Kaylee shared the excitement with my mom and dad over FaceTime so they could witness it all in real time. A simple white sheet, soft rose petals, and the golden light of the setting sun set the stage. Surrounded by beauty, love, and the quiet magic of the island, tears filled my eyes as I said yes — to a lifetime together, to forever.
