Matron of Honor
Kayla is my closest cousin and one of my best friends. To this day we can finish each other’s sentences and thoughts cause we just get each other like that. We have shared so many awesome memories through the years! From riding bikes through Pomona and buses in Shrader, to college days as roommates. I’m so happy to see where we are now.
Maid of Honor
Brittany has been my best friend for YEARS! We started out at Oakmont Elementary School together and never really parted ways. We went on school trips together because our parents didn’t play any games. (LOL) She even convinced me to transfer to MTSU. (Best decision ever in hindsight). She always entertains my shenanigans, and I can always count on her. I’m so proud of where we’ve grown from and thankful to have such a great friend to play such a huge role in my special day.
Bridesmaid
I met Keundrea at Middle Tennessee State University in 2011. She is my line sister and a true friend! She’s my dancing buddy, my stepping partner, and the closest thing to family minus blood. She always visited me in Memphis when she came to visit her family, and she made me feel like a part of hers. I tell her all the time she’s stuck with me forever, and I mean it, so of course she had to be with me on our special day.
Bridesmaid
I met Maurie at Middle Tennessee State University in 2011. She is my line sister and such a light to my life! She has the biggest heart, and the best advice! We love to DIY and share a love for outdoorsy things. From road trips, steps shows, witnessing her own union and this moment now, we’ve made so many memories throughout the years, and I’m so happy she will be with me to share such a big milestone with me!
Bridesmaid
Jasmine, My JAM! I met her at Middle Tennessee State University. I think she was the first new person I met. We met through Kayla back in our Women In Action days. Jasmine is such a great friend. She is always there when I need her. She’s literally seen me at my best and my worst. She’s an innovator and an encourager. She’s the calmer side of me and Brittany. (LOL) Looking back on our James Walker library days to now just makes me smile.
Best Man
Robert Reed. Man, this is literally my best friend (along with his wife LOL). Literally from our freshmen year at MT until now, we have been inseparable. From doing music together, to living together as roommates, to now being adult men, Rob's friendship has always been invaluable to me. I've known for a very long time that the day I got married, Rob would be up there with me standing as my best man. Seeing that I was also the best man in his wedding, it's only natural that it would come back full circle.
Best Man
My guy James! We met back in 2013 when I moved back to Murfreesboro through some mutual friends. It was our fraternity of Alpha Phi Alpha that brought us together, but it was genuine love and brotherhood that has sustained us to this day. From random road trips to just other times of kicking it, James is definitely someone that you want to have on your side. His friendship has been invaluable to me, and it was only right to have him stand as my 2nd best man on this big day!
Groomsman
I met Anquan back in 2012. He is my line brother (The Deuce) and we can always pick back up without a beat missed anytime we link up. Since we crossed in 2012, he's moved from state to state, and has been named one of America's Top Bachelors by Ebony Magazine when he lived in ATL, yet & still, he has remain humbled and continues to be a great friend and brother. His success and demeanor have always been an inspiration to me, and I'm happy that he will be standing with me on this great day!
Groomsman
Mane, where do I begin with this one? Montez and I met in 2006 as freshmen at MT in the Band of Blue. Then we were in Gospel Choir together. Then we started writing songs together. So you can basically say that we saw each other ALL the time LOL! Montez has been one of very good friends for a long time, and even though he lives in DC now, that friendship has never wavered. Montez was one of the first people I told I had proposed and also asked to be a groomsman. It was only right that I would have him be a part of my big day!
Groomsman
Corey is literally my longest friend. We went to high school together at Brighton High School, and then he came to MTSU the year after I did. He's consistent, and due to his pilot and ninja skills (LOL), someone you definitely want on the team. I'm happy he'll be standing up there beside me as a groomsman.

I met Andrew around 2012/2013 through a mutual friend. Ever since then, its been nothing but shenanigans and malarkey! From the townhome at 1720 Mercury Blvd to the present day, we've been there for each other. It's only right to have him participate in some capacity! I'm excited to have Andrew standing with me!

My blood brother! Literally from the same womb! Of course he had to be involved in some way, form, or fashion! When people see us, we always get this look of "Wait, y'all brothers?!" Then once they see us together, they come back and say "Aw yea, y'all definitely brothers" LOL! From countless debates to seeing him graduate to seeing him come into his own man, it's a honor and privilege to have my blood brother play a part in this big day!
