We did it!

It was a rather difficult year for both of us (Jeff &Candilynn) so many changes, different routines, both trying to get use to a new way of life, little did either of us know that a “Family Christmas party” would change our lives forever! Neither of us expected to meet the love of our lives, We write it that way because later upon examination, we both realized we had experienced the closest thing that either of us could call “ love at first sight” We were both intrigued, attracted and wanted to know more about the other. The connection was mutual and through that first night, we communicated about basic things in life, what television shows we were both watching, the exchange of music and simple things like favorite colors and career plans. The two weeks that followed found Candilynn attending family parties because of invites extended hoping to see more of Jeff, and Jeff hoping Candilynn to be at those parties or inviting her himself to insure her attendance hoping she would show which she always did because the intrigue was mutual. Finally Friday came along and Jeff had purchased tickets to the Shakes theater to see a Christmas carol and by chance, ( or fate) there happened to be an extra ticket, which Jeff extended the invite to Candilynn to attend, but Only if she would sit next to him as his date. This unfortunately did not happen (Candilynn attended but Jan, Jeff’s mother required assistance, so sitting next to each other as a date did not happen), but She Did attend with that intention in mind. On January first, after attending all the holiday events and parties, Jeff called Candilynn requesting an official 1st date, stating there would be “No kids, no family, and NO other guests that had unfortunately been present at other events”. It would be just them, and both individuals were looking forward to the date. The rest, Well, As they say, is History….
