Wedding: While we would have loved a black-tie celebration, the warm weather calls for something a bit lighter. "Beach formal" strikes the perfect balance: elevated and elegant, yet comfortable for the setting. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a lightweight suit. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses or elegant maxi dresses in breathable fabrics like silk, chiffon or linen blends. Note the events will be held on grass (not sand), so we recommend block heels, wedges or dressy flats rather than stilettos. Please, no flip-flops, shorts or casual sundresses. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white, cream or sage. Other Events: White Welcome Party: Guests are encouraged to wear all-white attire. Waterfall Hike: Closed-toe shoes with a good grip (no flip-flops; Keens/Chacos are fine), extra clothes, extra shoes, sunscreen and towels.
Yes! We'd love for you to join us for the white welcome party and the waterfall hike. Please refer to the "Schedule" tab for more information.
Yes, we will have a shuttle from the JW Marriott hotel to all wedding events. Shuttle schedule will be shared closer to the event date.
While we have not organized transportation to and from the airports, to the extent you would like to set up a transfer we highly recommend reaching out to David (+506-8803-1862) who has been amazing in helping us coordinate our transportation.
In addition to the kids club at the JW Marriott, professional nanny and babysitting services are available, so parents can spend a relaxing day together, enjoy an extended dinner, or even attend a special event, all worry-free. The hotel (and our wedding planner) has recommended the services of Guana Nana (nanny services). Their rates begin at $10 per hour plus taxes and fees. Please reach out directly to Solimar Guevara from Guana Nana at +506-8684-4551 to coordinate for your nanny needs.
It's currently on vacation and will rejoin us at the reception.
We ask that all guests RSVP no later than October 15, 2025.

If you are an American or Brazilian citizen you do not need a visa to travel to Costa Rica.
