Wedding: While we would have loved a black-tie celebration, the warm weather calls for something a bit lighter. "Beach formal" strikes the perfect balance: elevated and elegant, yet comfortable for the setting. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear a lightweight suit or dress shirt with trousers. Ladies are encouraged to wear floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses or elegant maxi dresses in light, breathable fabrics like silk, chiffon or linen blends. Note the events will be held on grass (not sand), so we recommend block heels, wedges or dressy flats rather than stilettos. Please, no flip-flops, shorts or casual sundresses. Yes! You must have a current valid passport and a return ticket to exit Costa Rica within 90 days. Your passport has to be valid for at least six months after the arrival date to Costa Rica. If you already have a passport, be sure to check the expiration date. If you do not already have a valid passport, it is a good idea to apply early to be sure you receive it in time for the trip.
If you are an American or Brazilian citizen you do not need a visa to travel to Costa Rica.
Absolutely! We will arrive on Thursday, February 12th and leave on Tuesday, February 17th.
