Our first date was at Parker's Bar & Grill in Geneva. When I got there I texted Jeff to see if he was already there and he told me I should just park next to him in and we could walk in together. Later he admitted that he wanted me to meet him in the parking lot so he could impress me with his fancy new Dodge Charger (Yes, I was impressed). During our date he held the door for me and pulled out my chair (I though, "Wow, such a gentleman"). We ordered drinks and talked for awhile, and I proceeded to laugh at all of his jokes. (Wow, were some of them corny!) He later shared that the moment he had known I must like him too was when I leaned over while laughing and placed my hand on his shoulder. (He was right!). A few weeks after our first date, Jeff invited me to the infamous D'Amico family Christmas Eve party. (I was later informed that I was the first girl he ever invited to his family's Christmas Eve party). Beforehand he prepared me for what he described as a large Italian gathering, and I nervously looked forward to meeting his family. Everyone was so welcoming and I had such a great time getting to know his family. The next day Jeff came to my family Christmas and he was a huge hit! He brought a bottle of wine (bonus points) and made a great first impression! During the 2 and a half years since, we have made so many amazing memories together from bringing our niece Jaclyn on a Disney cruise to the Bahamas, tackling an escape room in every city we have visited, driving a Mini around the streets of Rome, making Pasta in the Italian countryside, going white water rafting, and parasailing and jet skiing in St. Thomas to buying our first home together. What comes next will be our best adventure yet, our happily ever after. We are looking forward to sharing our special day with you all.
