We first met back in middle school band practice—Brianna on the triangle, me on the snare drum—but that’s hardly where our story truly began. We went to high school together, though we didn’t exactly travel in the same circles. I traded band for wrestling and became a “meathead,” while Brianna excelled in her AP classes and shined in the marching band. Fast forward almost 10 years to the summer of 2020, and fate brought us back together at a mutual friend’s gathering in Manahawkin. When I saw Brianna again, I knew I had to make a better impression. Something must have clicked that night, because we followed each other on Instagram soon after. One well-placed DM later, and after a few unforgettable dates, Brianna agreed to be my girlfriend on August 25, 2020, on a beach in Surf City. Since then, our love has only grown stronger. We’ve been through a pandemic, a career change, moving in together, and caring for Roxy, our geriatric dog. Throughout it all, I fell deeper in love with Brianna’s intelligence, beauty, and bravery, and I knew I had found my partner for life. So, on October 6, 2023, at Coronado Beach in San Diego, I got down on one knee and asked Brianna to be my wife. Even though I was almost too nervous to speak, I knew in my heart what her answer would be. Thankfully, she said yes! Now, here we are, ready to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most. Thank you for being here and sharing this special day with us!
