Our meeting was nothing short of what was meant to be. First of all, we have to thank God for placing us in the right places at the right time! Work was the first place I ever laid eyes on Jeff and I remember thinking to myself “its about time they hire someone good to look at!” I would find myself making excuses for needing to talk to him just so I could say hi, but trying to not be obvious about wanting to flirt with him. Fast foward a few months of googly eyes and small chit chat... On May 15, 2018 I finally got the nerve up to ask Jeff if he would like to meet me when he got off work to have a drink. We drove seperately and met at a local spot and sat on the patio. During our entire conversation, all I could think was “man hes cute!” I couldnt wait to see him again and we went on our very first official date the next day! He picked me up and opened the truck door for me to get in. I was hooked. Sadly, he left town the next day to go to his sister’s wedding and was gone for a whole week. I felt like a piece of me was missing every single day that he was gone! When he got back after that week...we became inseperable for the next 403 days! Day 403 was the proposal! This was the week that Jeff let me meet the majority of his family! On the beach in Gulf Shores Alabama I asked him if I could hire a photographer to take family pictures. We waited until sunset then met with the local photographer, Jon. An hour in to the shoot and hundreds of poses later, Jon told us it was a wrap and we were finished. Jeff then spoke up and asked Jon to take just a couple more with just Jeff and I. Jon agreed and snapped a few more before Jeff reached in to his back pocket, pulled out a ring and dropped to his knee! I cant describe the thoughts racing through my mind, but seeing his HUGE smile and holding that ring, was one best sights Ive ever seen! Saying yes was a no brainer and a moment I knew I had been waiting for since day 1!
