What is the wedding day itinerary?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5PM, please arrive between 4:30-4:45. Dinner, drinks, and dancing will follow. The evening will run until 10PM.

The dress code is semi-formal, cocktail or something in between.

Are there any reserved rooms for wedding guests?
Answer
Yes! Alta Lodge has set aside 18 rooms for our wedding guests. If these are full or you’d like something a little more or less luxurious, visit the “Travel,” tab on this website for other close-by options.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the venue?
Answer
Kind of. If you are staying up Little Cottonwood Canyon, in the town of Alta or Snowbird, there will be a complimentary shuttle provided by Alta Lodge. Call 801-742-3500 to make arrangement.

What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
Answer
From outside the canyon, rental car or rideshare services such as Uber & Lyft will be the most reliable and convenient. From up canyon (Alta & Snowbird), you may use the Alta Lodge shuttle 801-742-3500.

Are plus ones & children invited?
Answer
We kindly ask there to be no additional guests, such as plus ones or children during the ceremony unless otherwise indicated on your invitation.

What is August weather like in UT?
Answer
The Salt Lake Valley will be hot, 80s-90s likely. Alta Is usually 10 degrees less and cools down much more in the evenings, so bring a light jacket or sweatshirt. Being in mountainous terrain, there is also potential for afternoon showers.
