We're Getting Married!

Over 10 years ago, we laid eyes on each other at SMCC where we both played basketball. Years later we reconnected at the dance clubs at the Old Port in Portland, Maine. Jeffrey was in my phone as “Bieber” and I was in his phone as “Roxanne.” For a while, we would meet each other in the Old Port, flirt, dance the night away and hug goodbye for a little while. As the years went on and we lived our separate lives, we reconnected when we lived in different states and fell in love right before the pandemic. During the pandemic, we spent hours upon hours faceTiming each other without being able to see each other in person. Throughout this time, our hearts grew founder and Jeffrey eventually sent a bouquet of flowers asking me “Can I keep you?” Without hesitation, I said “yes” and that is when the fun really began. We spent a lot of time traveling back-and-forth from Massachusetts to Maine until we eventually decided to live together. 7 months after becoming official, to my surprise, Jeffrey proposed at a photoshoot at Biddeford Pool in Maine. It was a day like no other and one that we will never forget! Of course I said “Yes!” We toasted to champagne and spent the night in Kennebunkport celebrating. To make the story even more beautiful, three weeks after the proposal, we found out about our beautiful son, JJ! Now that we have adjusted to our new life, we have decided to finish what we started.
