FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The official dress code is semi-formal/cocktail attire or as we millennials remember it as “dress to impress.” Sneakers are highly encouraged as the bride/groom/entourage will be rocking kicks and there will be plenty opportunities to dance/walk/galavant around the venue. The venue has a “tropical vibe” if you want to theme your outfits accordingly.

Question

What is the Parking Situation?

Answer

We recommend Ubering, carpooling, or ridesharing to the event. There will be valet provided-cash tip encouraged

Question

Do I need to preference my food choice?

Answer

No. There will be options for all dietary needs.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

August in California is the end-of-summer season going into Fall, but with the way the weather has been going, expect it to be hot! For what it's worth though, our venue is all indoors

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, & Reception will all take place at the venue, Valentine DTLA. Everything will be happening at one place for (y)our convenience

Question

Where is the Wedding Venue?

Answer

Valentine DTLA address is as follows: 600 East 4th St, Los Angeles, CA 90013

Question

What time should I/we arrive?

Answer

Due to the nature of the unpredictable Los Angeles traffic, the fact that more than half of you are Filipino, and that you will be required to Valet your car upon arrival, we HIGHLY ENCOURAGE guests to leave early, get there early, and plan accordingly. We only have the venue for a certain amount of time and will be proceeding with all aspects of the day ON-TIME. For my Filipino-time family members, please use “airport rules” when planning your arrival time-meaning, please arrive 4 hours ahead of the festivities. You know who you are. The ceremony starts at 5PM, so you should start to seat yourselves for the ceremony by at 4:30PM

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Thank you in advance for confirming your RSVP by June 30, 2024 11:59 PM. All RSVPs will be done online exclusively through our emailed link/QR Code at this website. Zola will send email confirmations of your RSVPs. Once RSVPs are closed and locked in, please expect mail from us

Question

Answer

Question

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?
