He was a first year Graduate Assistant for football at NSU where I was in my sophomore year of college playing soccer when we met in the summer during physicals for athletics. One of my closest friends/teammates told him he should get my number that very same day when we happened to run into each other again during lunch, and ever since then we have not spent a day a part.
It was a typical weekend morning when I woke up and I heard Jeff in the kitchen cooking. He told me to just stay in bed that he would bring me some coffee. A few minutes later he came in with a breakfast tray. He sat down next to me and told me he loved me, then put the ring box onto the tray and asked me if I would marry him and let him bring me many more breakfasts in bed. I could not have imagined a more perfect way for him to ask me to spend the rest of my life with him.
