They met while living completely different lives in different states. Jonathan was coaching at the University of Virginia in Wise, Virginia, while Lena was working a contract ICU assignment in Memphis, Tennessee. Unexpected events (and a little bit of divine timing) brought them both back home to Georgia, just in time for their very first date. Jonathan grew up in metro Atlanta and is your classic jock, driven both on and off the field. He now serves as the Defensive Line Coach at Lowndes High School. Lena is from Macon, Georgia and attended private school. She is a registered nurse, determined and steadily working her way up the corporate ladder.
