FAQs/COVID Updates

We will be following all guidelines set forth by the State of Texas and the Hays County Judge. We will keep this page updated with any changes to how things might look on our big day.
Question

Will I have to wear a mask?

Answer

At this time masks will not be required by the state of Texas or the county when inside the venue. Please know this order could change or be extended into October at any time. Whether or not masks are required is not in our, or the venues, control. Regardless the venue will have disposable masks available for all our guests. The Terrace Club is requiring that all employees and vendors on their property wear a mask at all times no matter what.

Question

What other precautions are being taken?

Answer

The venue is built to hold just over 400 people total. Currently the venue can only have 50% of its maximum capacity and we have under 100 guests invited to our wedding. During the ceremony there will be extra seats left empty to allow for distancing and 'groups' will be ushered to their seats to ensure distancing is given. Of course this doesn't mean you can't sit next to a friend or family member you haven't seen in a while! We are just doing everything we can to be respectful of everyone's comfort levels. For the dinner/reception there will be no more than 10 people seated at each table and there will be plenty of room for people to maneuver the indoor space while still keeping a distance. The outdoor space will be open and accessible for the entirety of the evening as well. In addition there will be hand sanitizer readily available throughout the facility.

Question

Will we be inside or outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside followed by a brief outdoor cocktail hour and the dinner/reception will be indoors.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Texas Hill Country in October is a little cooler than you might think, especially once the sun goes down. If you tend to run cold you might consider bringing something to keep you warm until we move inside for the reception after sunset.

Question

Will parking be available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There will be ample parking available at the Terrace Club.

Question

What type of food will be served?

Answer

We are doing a steak and chicken dinner with a vegetarian option available. We will also have kid friendly meals available for our younger guests!
