Question

Where is the Wedding?

Answer

The wedding ceremony will take place on Magic Island towards the Waikiki Beach Magic Island Viewpoint

Question

What is the structure of this wedding?

Answer

We will have a few optional open activities for everyone to attend! Please review the Schedule tab for additional information. We will have an intimate wedding ceremony and a small Hawaiian breakfast following.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

There is a large parking lot for Magic Island and should be decently empty at the time of the ceremony! No need to pay since it's public parking and could potentially be walkable if you're close to Alo Moana!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress attire is very casual and relaxed... we're at the beach! I've suggested Hawaiian shirts and jeans/shorts/slacks for everyone. I've also suggested an option for women to wear a Hawai'i Wrap Sarong (https://abcstores.com/apparel/women/sarongs/) as well! The Sarongs are available at most "ABC Stores" in Hawai'i with different colors and patterns to choose from.

Question

Are there certain colors or apparel to avoid?

Answer

This is very casual and we do not have any rules on what not to wear! Please be comfortable and happy with us :)

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, this is a public ceremony, so there is cap on the number of people. Please speak to Tyler and I first to verify any extra attendees that we are not aware of.

Question

Do I need to run if the police come?

Answer

Since there is a cap on the number of people legally accepted by the public beach permit, there may be a chance that you will HAVE to run as we try to get close to the legal number allowed. If caught, please let the authorities know that you are just strolling in the park and happened to stumble across a beautiful ceremony.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

This is a sunrise wedding, so we put the time to at 5:00 AM in order to start the ceremony at 5:30 AM.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There are no set accomodations for the event and every individual must coordinate their way to and from the wedding site.
