We met at a get together during our first few days at SFA in Nacogdoches, Texas. We gravitated to each other the entire night. We found ourselves in the same place once again at homecoming during a Frankie Ballard concert a few weeks later, and the rest was history.
Jeff got down on one knee infront of the Gerald D. Hines Waterwall monument near the Galleria in Houston. He arranged for our families to surprise me when he popped the question.
Less than a month before our wedding we received the news that we would have to reschedule. Without certainty of what our new wedding day would look like we decided to exchange our vows through an intimate ceremony with our immediate families. Like many others, the pandemic changed our world as we knew it and brought on a "new normal". We have found that our love for each other and our families have been unwavering through it all. We are so excited to finally get to celebrate our marriage and the birth of our son with all of you!
