Rehearsal Dinner

The rehearsal will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 302 N. State Street, Geneseo. We will need the wedding party, pastor, pianist, singers, ushers, and anyone else directly affiliated with the wedding ceremony to attend. After practicing, we will all convene in our backyard as Wayne and Theresa Peterson will be manning the grill/smoker! They'll be cooking up steak, pork chops, chicken and a vegetarian menu, and it will be quite the treat! Might conclude the evening with a campfire and s'mores...all up to our collective bedtimes...and the mandates that we all make it to the church on time on Saturday!

We are so excited you're sharing in our special day! We'll be dressed to the nines, but if you feel like wearing jeans, please do so! We also want to let you know that the reception at the Annawan Best Western doesn't officially open up until 4 p.m. The bridal party, following pictures, will most likely not arrive until around 4:30 p.m.
Reception

The wedding party will be dressed to the nines, but please be comfortable!
We anticipate the wedding concluding around 3 p.m., followed by pictures. It will take about 15 minutes to arrive at the reception at the Best Western in Annawan. The reception hall/bar will not be open until 4 p.m., so if you want to stop at the Corner Coop for a cupcake, please feel free to do so (they're so yummy!) Otherwise, you can expect the wedding party to arrive around 4:30 p.m., with official introductions around 4:45 p.m. and dinner to be served between 5 and 5:15 p.m. Menu will consist of grilled pork chops (Jeff's favorite) and chicken, green bean amandine, cheesy potatoes, salad, fruit salad, and cheeses. The cake, created by Kerry Lester, will not only be delectable, but in various flavors: chocolate with Bavarian cream, white with raspberry filling, and vanilla with lemon.
