Start the weekend off with the official “Giant Pumpkin Parade” followed by lots of fun events like the Pumpkin Debry, Pumpkin Catapult, and Pumpkin Regatta. Watch while people race their pumpkin boats down the river for the coveted “Golden Gourd” trophy.

45 minutes from our wedding location, this vineyard recently got written up in Portland Press Herald for booking major music talent from Graham Nash to Lyle Lovett. Union is small, rural and very beautiful situated close to Rockland. Their wine is good too! They grow the largest proportion of their own grapes for the wine of any Maine vineyard. A great backroads drive through interesting little towns and scenic country.
