It would be helpful if you could let us know your plans by mid-July, but please RSVP no later than August 1, 2025 on the RSVP tab.
We are registered on MyRegistry. Please see Registry tab on our website!
Please see Schedule tab for additional information about event times. Our ceremony will begin at 2:30PM, so we encourage guests to arrive around 2:00PM and enjoy a mimosa before the ceremony begins.
If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know in the RSVP section so we can coordinate with the venue’s kitchen. Jimbo’s is a fully functioning restaurant and can accommodate most dietary needs—as long as we know ahead of time!
Yes! There’s plenty of parking available at Jimbo’s—whether you’re staying for the whole weekend or just coming for the ceremony and reception, you’ll be all set.
The dress code for the wedding is cocktail. Please keep in mind that this is a rustic location with mostly grass, sand, and gravel underfoot. We recommend avoiding fancy shoes that you don’t want to get dirty—stiletto heels are likely not the best choice for this setting. Beyond the wedding and reception, dress for comfort!
We’re keeping things intimate, so if your invite includes a plus-one, they’ll be listed on your invitation. If not, we hope you’ll still come solo and have a great time with us!
We are planning for an adults-only celebration. We love your kids and understand that arranging childcare isn’t always easy so we hope we've given enough notice to help with planning.
Unfortunately, Jimbo's does not allow pets on their property.
No. Jimbo's does not allow tents or campers on the property.
No! The whole property at Jimbo's is ours for the entire weekend.
While we would absolutely love for everyone to stay the entire weekend (Friday through Sunday), we completely understand that work, travel, and family commitments may make that difficult. If you’d prefer to join us just for the ceremony and reception, that’s perfectly fine! If you’re up for spending the whole weekend with us, we’d be thrilled. You’re also welcome to join for just Friday and Saturday, just Saturday, or whatever works best for you — the possibilities are plentiful and entirely up to you.

Lawn chairs (completely optional, but if you're local and want to bring a chair along, please do! Note that the cabins only have beds, no chairs)

We’re all crossing our fingers for sunshine, but just in case it rains, don’t worry—we’ve got a solid Plan B for everything on the schedule. Nothing’s getting washed out!
Although Jimbo's is nestled in the Adirandack Mountains and it is pretty remote, there is adequate cellphone coverage at Jimbos, no wifi. There are also small towns with grocery stores and restaurants nearby if you were to forget any personal items or need additional food at any point over the weekend.
Staying On-Site at Jimbo’s If you plan to stay on-site at Jimbo’s, all bookings will be handled through the RSVP section on Sophie and Jeff’s wedding website. When you RSVP, please let us know your expected arrival time and which nights you’ll be staying. Payment will be made directly to Jimbo's and is due upon check-in at the Library when you arrive. Jimbo’s accepts all major credit cards and cash — personal checks are not accepted.
Check-In: Guests can check in between 1:00-5:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2025. Check-in will be available again between 10:00AM-2:00PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025. If you’re arriving Friday after the check-in window, no worries! When you get here, Sophie, Jeff, or Nancy can let you know which cabin you’re in (if you don’t already know) or you can pick up a map with your room/cabin number on it waiting for you in the library! Please make sure to check in and take care of your payment with Jimbo’s when they reopen the check-in desk in the library on Saturday. Check-Out: All guests will need to check out by 12:00 PM on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
The only time you might need cash during the weekend is at the Beach Bonfires on Friday and Saturday nights. Friday Night: We’ll be providing beer from kegs, soda and water. Wine will also be available for purchase — cash only. (No cards or digital payments accepted down at the beach, so come prepared with some cold hard cash if you'll want to enjoy wine.) Saturday Night: There will be a 5-hour open bar during cocktail hour and the reception. After that, once we move to the beach bonfire, we will have kegs available, but any additional wine (after provided wine runs out) will need to be purchased at the bar — again, cash only. (No cards or digital payments accepted here either.)
Soooo... Jimbo’s has a policy of no outside alcohol on the property. However, hypothetically speaking, if you were to bring your own alcohol and keep it lowkey — perhaps in a solo cup or within the privacy of your cabin or lodge room — well, hypothetically speaking, who’s to say? That said, please do not bring outside alcohol to any events like the reception or bonfires. If you’re staying on the property, you’ll have 24/7 access to your accommodations throughout the weekend. So, if you ever need to pop back to your room for anything — wink wink — it’s all yours whenever you need it! We want to keep things smooth and fun for everyone, so let’s respect the house rules while having a great time!
