What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

You can arrive to Iron Gate as early as 11:30M. The ceremony will start promptly at noon.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited venue space, adults only please, aside from our ring bearers and flower girl.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Information for room blocks at The Kimpton Banneker Hotel (same location as after party) and The Courtyard by Marriott Washington, DC Dupont Circle (directly across the street from Iron Gate Restaurant) is listed in the Travel & Accommodations tab.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The suggested hotels are within a 5 minute walking distance from Iron Gate Restaurant.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

For guests staying at either hotel, there are parking options offered by the hotels (additional cost). There is limited, metered street parking available near the restaurant. Are there any COVID-19 protocols in place for the wedding, reception and after party?

Answer

We are so grateful to be able to celebrate in person together again! D.C. gives private businesses the latitude to require proof of vaccination at restaurants, gyms, hotels, and other establishments. In order to eliminate issues, we require all guests to be fully vaccinated prior to attending.
