10.22.18 Honestly, we knew of each other for a real long time. Both our girls, Lily and Elli, went to Respite Care together for several years. And the same elementary school! We have enjoyed being a part of our communities and giving back, and that's where we ultimately connected. You know how roads in life diverge and some of ours did, and then we found that they came to each other. (AWE!) Social media helped us stay in touch and in 2018, we had our first date on October 22nd (Hence why we chose this date for our wedding)! It was a funny and memorable date. We've since been best friends and know each other annoyingly well. We are definitely in love, and in chaos with both of our families and we can't wait to be married! We are also very aware of the love and support we have had from our friends and family, and truly can't wait to have this day as a celebration with you! 10.23.21 Jeff proposed at Bon Appetit restaurant, in Dunedin, just outside of Clearwater Beach, Florida! He had made reservations for the private chef's table, which was behind the restaurant and facing the ocean in most all directions. It was beautiful, romantic, and even came with bagpipe music from local musicians (which Jeff had not planned but it added to the moment!) As the bagpipes finished their rendition of Amazing Grace and the sun was setting, Jeff got down on one knee and asked Sarah to spend all the rest of her sunsets with him. He also said some additional, wonderful things that Sarah can't recall because well....she was in shock. Everything was perfect!
