Our Story
NYC brought these two midwestern souls together in 2018 at a rainy beer festival on Governor's Island, at which Jeff asked for Sam's number...and received her email address. This was followed by an everlasting first date that started at Goodnight Sonny, but ended up all over East Village. These two spent all of their late 20s in NYC, and they don't regret any second of soaking up the best city in the world.
When the pandemic hit, they escaped their studio apartment for a few months and made their way back to their Kentucky and Michigan roots. Reflecting back, this was really rare and precious family time that they would have never gotten otherwise.
Their tech careers took them out to Seattle in 2021, where they live (right next to the Space Needle) today. The pictures below show some of their best memories over the years, from learning to snowboard to visiting Japan. No matter where they are living or traveling, they feel most at home taking on the adventure together.
